
IAHM conducts its popular educational programs and activities with the support of community volunteers and in collaboration with leading cultural and educational institutions. Key program activities include:
IAHM is participating in the Chicago Cultural Alliance's Talking About…Series to bring together ethnic communities in Chicago to discuss contemporary issues, such as immigration, ethnic identity, climate change and health care, from the perspectives and experiences of community members.
Community discussions will be facilitated by trained IAHM volunteers following the Chicago Cultural Alliance’s Civic Engagement Model.

The IAHM Ethnic Dialogue program offers visitors of all ages a memorable experience. It includes presentations to school and university students and other interested visitors. Among its resources are rich array of artifacts, photographs and publications that tell the Indian American immigrant story.
Schedule a visit today and learn first hand about diversity in the ethnic community as you exchange ideas with Indian immigrants, explore shops and enjoy restaurants on Devon Avenue.
